My practice serves as a bridge between the past and the present, weaving together narratives of resilience and reintegrating through painting and illustrations. Connecting traditional knowledge and modern anime style, they are utilized to express myself in celebrating identity, ancestry, cultural teachings, and my traditional homeland. I capture the beauty and strength of people and family to share our rich traditions. It exists to convey meaningful stories and messages through symbolism, vibrant colors, and playful images.
